Tatenda Mujeni

Tatenda Mujeni is a Global Health Equity and Health Systems Strengthening Strategist. Tatenda is currently a Doctor of Public Health Candidate at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She holds a Master of Public Health Degree from Columbia University and a BSc in Biology from Bennett College in Greensboro North Carolina. Tatenda’s over 10 years- experience working in Global Health spanning over multiple countries in Africa has included disease prevention and control and supporting efforts in community health systems strengthening. Tatenda’s passion in health equity and building sustainable health systems in Africa has guided her current research in innovative health financing strategies to protect populations in low-resourced settings from the financial risk associated with seeking healthcare. As a co-founder of the Harvard University wide African Women Leaders in Health (AWL), Tatenda is an advocate and champion of gender equity and advancement of African women leaders in global and public health leadership.
